Sailor Bears Smocked Insert

Hey ya'll!! Hope everyone is having a blessed day. This is a smocked insert I finished recently. I just think it turned out so so cute. The primary colors look a whole lot better in real life. My camera is not doing good lately. I do not know what is going on with it, so I apologize for the poor quality pics at times. The smocking plate I used is from Little Memories. They have the cutest plates. The insert is made of white broadcloth. It is 12 pleated rows with 10 smocked. I love to smock. I am planning to make this into an outfit soon, but I had gotten behind on my smocked inserts, so I am catching up with them, and then I will start putting into outfits. I like to keep some on hand for baby gifts. I hope life is treating you well. I am winding down and just enjoying the season now. I love this time. Here we go

Here we go... I love to be active. I have many crafts I enjoy, but sewing, smocking, cardmaking, and pottery are my favorites. My problem is that I work full time, and just do not have enough time to do them all. I was browsing in a fabric store the other day, and found some apron patterns. It brought back many wonderful memories of my grandmother. I bought the pattern, and came home with loads of fabric and started creating. I love bright colors and mixing bold prints and patterns to make unique creations. I hope you enjoy!! Ya'll have a blessed day!!!
